Some people with long COVID experience problems with their eyesight. A review of the literature reveals cases of COVID-19-related conjunctivitis as well as of inflammation of the retina and other parts of the eye. Post-COVID vision problems may be due to direct viral infection.

How is it treated ?
The treatment may vary, depending on the underlying cause, and must be based on an ophthalmologist’s opinion. Accommodation exercises can help alleviate symptoms.
